Hello Charles, I can definitely point you in the right direction. The 3,250 lb axles SHOULD use the same bearings and seals as a 3,500 lb axle. It does kind of depend on when the trailer was made though. Some older trailers may not necessarily use the same standard bearing sizing, and unfortunately, I cannot confirm your bearing sizes just by knowing the weight capacity and make or trailer.

Currently Dexter only offers either the Self-Adjusting Brakes # 23-464-465 or Brakes With Parking Brake # 23-112-113 which will fit your 1997 M1101 trailer. Both of these are sets of brakes for the left and right while the Drum # 42866UC3 is offered as a single unit so you will need to order 2 of the drums. The drum will include the bearings, races, grease seal, cap and lug nuts for a 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern.

First here are some parts I am going to recommend for fixing up your trailer. The Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C is a great option since it has a radial versus bias construction. This will give you better highway characteristics and increased tread life. To be able to verify the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-259-5UC1-EZ is the correct part for your axle I will either need the axle tag information on your 2023 Triton LTWCI trailer or I will need to know what bearings and grease seal your current hubs use. The Kodiak Disc Brakes # KOD59FR with the Dacromet/KodaGuard are definitely a solid choice, but the hub-rotors and brackets only have a 300- to 400-hour salt spray rating and the calipers have a 500- to 600-hour salt spray rating.
